Cumnor Parish News About Us

Cumnor Parish News is a magazine with information for the residents of the civil parish of Cumnor which includes Cumnor Village, Cumnor Hill, Henwood, Farmoor, Swinford and Dean Court. It is run by a small management committee of local volunteers as a 'not for profit' Community Interest Company (CIC). The directors are Malcolm Fearn (Chair), Liz Westcott (Company Secretary), Frances Down (Treasurer), Alec Henderson (Distribution Manager), Sue Ayres (Advertising), Liz Williams and Gwen Clarke. Our editor is Kim Heffernan. The magazine is published ten times a year with a combined issue during December/January and July/August.

The magazine contains a mix of articles covering local news, events, details of clubs and societies, quizzes and articles of general interest. It also includes advertisements for a wide variety of local service providers along with an indexed list of the local advertisers. Everything you need to know about the local area.

It is distributed to local subscribers by a team of around 50 volunteers and is available for sale in local shops in Cumnor, Appleton and Botley including the Botley Library.

We are always looking for volunteers to join the management team or help with distribution. If you would like to be a part of and contribute to this valuable community service then please
